This will be a holiday like no other! One of the best ways to use up some fresh basil is to cook some creamy, chicken-basil pasta with it. This pasta dish is simple, delicious, and fast!
Before you can get to cooking, you'll need to get the ingredients for this lovely dish. You'll need to get one chicken breast, black pepper, salt, pasta in any shape or pattern of your choice, basil sauce, italian seasoning, milk, cream, any vegetable combination of your choice, and vegetable oil.
Step one- Add water to a pot. The amount of water depends on how much pasta you're cooking.
Step two- Add two tablespoons of vegetable oil into the water pot.
Step three- Put one teaspoon of salt into the pan of water.
Step four- Add your pasta and let it boil.
Step five- Slice one chicken breast twice.
Step six- Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.
Step seven- Fry the chicken in two tablespoons of vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes on each side of the chicken until the chicken is ready.
Step eight- Take the chicken out of the pan and add broccoli, carrots, peas, or any other vegetables of your choice in the same pan.
Step nine- Cut your cooked chicken into cubes, then add into the pan.
Step ten- Add your vegetable mixture of choice into the chicken pan.
Step eleven- By now, your pasta should be ready. Strain the pasta.
Step twelve- Add your pasta into the vegetable and chicken mixture pan.
Step thirteen- Add a tablespoon of basil sauce into the mixture pan.
Step fourteen- Sprinkle Italian seasoning into the vegetable and chicken mixture pan.
Step fifteen- Pour one and a half cups of whipping cream into vegetable and chicken mixture pan.
Step sixteen- Pour a half cup of milk into the vegetable and chicken mixture pan.
Step seventeen- Sprinkle a pinch of salt into the vegetable and chicken mixture pan.
Step eighteen- Mix the vegetable and chicken mixture pan slowly, then let it sit on low for 15 minutes.
