Mountain Range is gearing up for its annual prom, a highlight of the year that brings students together for an evening of celebration. The get together will be on April 12th, 2025 from 8pm-11pm. The event will be hosted at Asterisk: 1075 Park Ave. in Denver, CO. Tickets will be sold at all lunch periods in the cafeteria from April 7th to the 11th, with the prices being $55 presale price and $60 at the door the night of.

In the lead up to Prom, Mountain Range organizes various activities to bring up school spirit and student engagement. One notable event is the Pre-Prom Invite, this is a track and field meet that is scheduled for April 9, 2025, at the North Stadium. This is a special meet that is specifically scheduled before prom to relieve the stress of the athletes. This meet makes it so the runners won't have to choose between Prom or their meet, they will have plenty of time to prepare for Prom. “We thought that if we changed the day of this meet it would relieve stress from the runners”, stated Mr. Marquez, the track coach. In past years, this meet has been scheduled on the day of Prom. As this is the first year this is being tried, it is expected to be better for the athletes.

Other pre-prom activities are Prom Spirit Week. The Prom assembly is Thursday, April 10 from 9:19-10:52am. The Spirit days will be April 7 through April 11. Monday- Disney Day, Tuesday- Meme Day, Wednesday- Pink, Thursday- Black and Blue MR, and Friday- BBQ Dad vs Soccer Mom.

Students and parents are encouraged to stay informed about pre-prom related announcements by being sure they are reading all weekly update emails and checking Mountain Range’s official website, school calendar and socials. These sources will provide updates on ticket sales, dress codes, themes, spirit weeks, and other needed information as Prom approaches.

Prom at Mountain Range is more than a dance, it is a tradition cherished by students that attend. It gives students a chance to make lasting memories with friends and classmates.
