Dear Mustangs,
Welcome back! The Mountain Range Journalism team is here and ready to produce new and exciting content. As the new year begins, students and teachers start getting their affairs in order to start the new year off on a good note, and along with them, so is the Journalism staff. As the Journalism team we will be covering many different topics throughout the year; such as sports, academic achievements, community events, and lots more.
For the last few years we have been dealing with something we're sure many of you are over with. COVID. We have been in lockdown for what has felt like years of captivity and horror. Only just recently have things started to feel somewhat close to “normal”. We believe that many of us are ready to move on and pick up the pieces from where we left off in 2020.
Moving on from this impactful situation that affected many of our lives may be hard at first but we all can do it. This will be an exciting year. Not only is there going to be an editorial staff publishing articles but there will also be content being produced from the first year journalism students. This year's journalism team is ecstatic for their hard hitting articles to be released to the public.
Get ready for our upcoming pieces that will be published throughout the year, starting with articles about everything you need to know about homecoming, spirit week, powder puff and many more things going on in our school and in our community. Let’s make this year the best one yet! Good luck to all the students and teachers.
From the Mountain Range editorial staff,
Lukas, Samantha, and Sasha
